Here are a series of clues to famous persons whose birthday is in May. I’ve given their birthday along with the answers below.

1) Playwright born in 1934, famous for his ‘Talking Heads’ and ‘Lady in the Van’ amongst many other works.

 

2) Former sprinter who was 100 metres Olympic gold medallist at Moscow in 1980.

 

3) British comedian born in 1973 and married to Rachel Parris who in his younger days was a podium dancer.

 

4) Prolific American author who wrote ‘The Bone Collector’ the first of his series featuring Lincoln Rhyme

 

5) As famous for his travel documentaries as for being in Monty Python.

 

6) With music awards too many to detail, the former Miss Adkins is known just by her first name.

 

7) Actor, comedian, impressionist and presenter who starred alongside Steve Coogan in ‘The Trip’ amongst a host of other shows.

 

8) Born in 1989 he is a former world No1 golfer from Northern Ireland.
